The Locket Shoot
The Locket Shoot is an intimate and private shoot for a select group of four models and two photographers from the Seattle area. The shoot will be booked for four hours in the locket space, located at Under the Root in the SoDo area of Seattle.
The locket space features a warehouse style aesthetic, with white wooden floors and large open windows that face north. Provided with the rental is access to vintage furnishings and props, as well as access to about 1200 feet of the studio space.
The models are asked to provide their own wardrobe and styling for this shoot. The photographers will bring props and accessories, but all clothing, hair, and makeup styles will be chosen by the models. The overall theme will be boudoir, but mostly in the soft, hazy, dreamy aspect. Think white lace, oversized sweaters, and warm cups of tea. Bring whatever clothing you feel most comfortable and sexy in; it does not have to be lingerie, and this shoot will not require the models to be nude at any time. The photographers will provide blankets and pillows, as well as drapery and other aesthetic design pieces to fit the theme of the shoot.
This shoot will be free to the models, though donations to cover the rental fees and snacks that will be on site are very much appreciated. A donation button for this fund is located on the left side of this page.
Currently, this shoot date is undefined, but being planned for later summer 2017, between the end of July into September.
