May has been an interesting month of change and new experiences.
I can safely say that I've landed myself in another rut, creatively. That part isn't so great, since we've been here before. I'm certainly trying to lever myself out of it, working to actually get myself moving again. It will pass; it always does.
Radiant Northwest is officially happening! I received confirmation around the middle of the month, and I accepted a table in their artist alley. I'll be bringing my flower crowns to the convention, along with some jewelry and embroidery designs. I'm very much looking forward to my first table, and seeing where this takes me.
In that vein, I've got shoots planned through June and July to get my portfolio together for the event. I'll be hosting studio shoots through the next month and a half, working to get that all wrapped up before the end of July.
I also hosted my first photobooth this month! Everfree Northwest, a My Little Pony convention, happened in Sea-Tac, and I went to host the first official photobooth at the event. It was a great learning experience, and I had a great time meeting new people. I made some connections with cosplayers in the area I hadn't met before, and I'm hoping to hear from those folks soon.
Overall, May has been an okay month. Not great, but pretty solid. I know that it can only get better from here!
